Abstract: Objective By evaluating the direct network reporting of infectious disease in Putuo district to increase the reporting quality and improve the reporting system.Methods The analysis was conducted on the epidemic data obtained from national disease reporting information system.Results The timeliness of reporting and verifying improved by years from 2006 to 2008.The timeliness rates of reporting and verifying were 100% and 99.84% in 2008.But the accuracy of reporting hadnt been improved so much, mainly on the card filling of cases sex and diagnosis date.The filling rate for parents name of children under 14 years old was relatively low.Conclusion Great progress has been made in the direct network reporting on infectious diseases in recent years, but more attention should be paid to the standardization of the reporting.
